GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME; ALL THE TIME, GOD IS GOOD!

God hears and answers prayer.  He answers yes, no, and wait.  Well, I must say I have an answer to prayer after 66 years.  When I was going to college, I took a course in Journalism 101.  At that time, newspapers were the way to spread the news.  The course taught us how to write newspaper articles on how to present good news.  At the end of the course, we were to write an article and submit it to the newspaper.  Mine never got accepted”, even though I prayed: God help my article to be accepted.  Hallelujah!  After 66 years, God has been faithful in answering prayers.  I submitted an article to the editor of the Towers Tibrune, and it was accepted.  Here is the article: “God loved me to help others…  Hello, my name is Bob, God is good all the time; all the time, God is good!, Lindenberger

I am here at the Towers because of a traumatic time in my life.  I lost my home and all my earthly possessions and was forced to go into an Assisted Living Facility, from there to Royal Oaks Nursing and Rehab Center, and now here.  All of this was God’s will, I am sure.

Every morning I wake up, I pray: Thank you, Lord, for your presence.  I want to help people who are hurt.  I want to lift up Jesus so You can draw men /women to yourself and be available to hurting people just like me.

Now you know me,  I would like you to understand my use of this time in the newspaper.  I know we are all here because of a circumstance beyond our control, and we are all grieving for our lives.  For me, it was losing my wife ten years ago and my son seven years ago – I am still in the grieving process and would love to share with you all I have experienced in the grieving process to help you draw closer to Jesus every day.

If you would like to talk about your grieving situation, I am always available at apartment 504.  I can’t fix your circumstances but I can show you the One can.  God bless you and keep you and make his face shine upon you and give you His Peace.  Shalom.

When I finished writing this article my mind remembered and took me back over my life.  I almost fell into a depressed state of mind, and then I read this: Beware Of Overthinking Things–obsessing about unimportant matters.  When your mind is idle, you tend to go into panic mode: attempting to figure things out and make various decisions decisions before you really need to do so.  This is an unproductive way of trying to grasp control, and it’s a waste of your precious time.  Often, you end up changing your mind or forgetting what you decided.  There is a time for planning, but it is definitely not all the time – or even most of it.

Seek to live in the present moment, where My Presence awaits you continually.  Refresh yourself in My nearness, and that in My Love soaks into your innermost being.  Relax with Me, putting aside problems so you can be attentive to Me and receive more of My Love.  You’re soul thirsts for Me, but often you don’t realize what you’re really longing for: awareness of My Presence.  That means lead beside quiet waters and restore your soul.  Just as lovers don’t need to say much to communicate deeply, so it is your relationship with Me – the Lover of your soul.

And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this though, that suppresses knowledge – that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.  – Ephesians 3:17-19.

Oh God, you are my God; early will I seek You; my God thirst for You; my flesh tones for You in a dry and thirsty land where there is no water.  –63;1

He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters,he restores my soul.  He guides me in the paths of righteousness for his namesake.  – Psalm 23:2-3

Jesus and you, so do I
