WHAT IS THE WORLD?



WHAT IS THE WORLD?
The teacher asked this question at Sunday school.

The class was over before I could speak and I didn’t make sense when I did speak, so, I came home and wrote this:

The dictionary says, “the world is the planet Earth and all life on it, including human civilization. … In a theological context, the world is the planet Earth and all life on it, including human civilization. … In a very logical context, the world is the material or the profane sphere, as opposed to celestial, spiritual, transcendent, or sacred spheres.  “End of the world” scenarios referred to the end of human history, often in a religious context.

WORLD= KINGDOM

GOD CREATED A KINGDOM – – GOD IS THE KING OF THIS KINGDOM
God created Angel’s for subjects of His Kingdom. One Angel, the highest-ranking one, his name is Lucifer (Satan), rebelled. He was cast out of Heavenly Kingdom, and one-third of all the angels rebelled with him. They all came to planet Earth, and a kingdom was established with Satan as King.  That kingdom is the world.

GOD CREATED A MAN AND WOMAN IN HIS IMAGE, PERFECT, AS SUBJECTS OF HIS KINGDOM.

The perfect subjects, Adam and Eve, were placed in a wonderful garden on Earth and had perfect fellowship with the Creator (KING). In this wonderful garden, there was a tree that they were told not to eat its fruit; if they did, they would die. (not be part of the Heavenly Kingdom but separated from it).

The king of Earth, Satan, tempted the woman, and she ate and had her husband also eat, which was disobedient (sin), and they were cast out of the wonderful garden and the Heavenly Kingdom and became subjects of Satan’s kingdom, the world.

GOD LOVES HIS CREATION AND MADE WAY FOR THEM TO BECOME PART OF HIS KINGDOM. 

“For God so loved the world (subjects of Satan’ kingdom) that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life, for God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.  Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.”  John 3:16-18)
JESUS TAUGHT HIS DISCIPLES TO PRAY:  “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name, Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”

Are you in Satan’s kingdom or Creator King’s Kingdom?

                                                   OCTOBER 2021 NEWSLETTER                                                                                                Robert Lindenberger 3325 3 rd Avenue Mims, FL 32754 321-368-7184 expas65@yahoo.com   There may be more people alive today than ever before, but there are also more lonely people today than ever before – divorced spouses, homeless people, many elderly parents, and, perhaps saddest of all, losing a loved one and living alone.  This month it will be seven years since my soulmate, Marian, went to be with Jesus, and I have been alone.  She gave me a good date, 10/12/14, because she knew I didn’t remember dates, but I can’t forget this one.       No one, though, has ever so alone as the Lord Jesus on the cross.  “Behold, the hour,” He had said, “yea, is now come, that you shall be scattered, every man to his own, and just leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.”  (John 16:32).
